Presenters
Dr Peter Crow CMInstD, is a chartered director and respected authority on governance, strategy and boardcraft. He has devoted his life’s work to helping boards govern with impact. He has served on the boards of over twenty private companies, family businesses and social enterprises, and has an extensive global record advising and educating boards, speaking and writing on governance topics, and in board research. Peter holds a doctorate in corporate governance and strategy, and a first in technology and management. He lives in Pyes Pa and is a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Dr George Wieland has been on staff at Carey since 1999. After some years as Lecturer in New Testament he developed the Carey Centre for Mission Research and Formation, serving as its director for a further eleven years. He is now a Carey Honorary Research Fellow conducting research in biblical studies and mission which resources Carey, churches and mission organisations and Christin NGOs. He also continues to teach as an adjunct lecturer.
Dr John Tucker is Principal of Carey Baptist College. With the senior management team, he is responsible for setting Carey’s strategic direction, protecting Carey’s culture, nurturing Carey’s staff team, and representing Carey among churches and stakeholders. John also teaches history and homiletics in Carey’s undergraduate programmes.
