Webinar 3: Activating people in Spiritual gifts. Learnings and testimonies from implementing the Naturally Supernatural Course at SouthWest Baptist. With Claire Russell. 7th August, 10am, 2025. 
Webinar 4: Cultivating an environment for the expression of Spiritual gifts and Spirit led prayer ministry. Tips for navigating some of the common challenges associated with Holy Spirit led ministry. A panel discussion with Baptist pastors. 21st August, 10am, 2025.  
 
Presenters 


Dr Phil Halstead lectures in Applied Theology at Carey Baptist College, with a focus on pastoral care, pastoral counselling, inner healing, and integrative theology. He has published widely in the areas of forgiveness, pastoral care and counselling, and mental health.


Dr Glenn Melville directs the Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning to provide on-going training and resources that equip Christian leaders and churches to thrive.


Claire Russell is the Equipping Pastor at South West Baptist Church focusing on the areas of ministry, prayer, discipleship and pastoral care. Prior to joining the pastoral team 13 years ago, her background was in teaching and education. In the last 4 years she has been running the Naturally Supernatural Course and training numbers of people in the church to feel more confident in the basic areas of doing ministry with the Holy Spirit, hearing and discerning God speaking to them and following the nudges from the Spirit to step out.


Adele Vannathy is Lead Pastor at Hosanna Porirua. As a pastor’s kid, Adele has grown up in the church and in ministry. She has seen and experienced the good the bad and the beautiful of what life with Christ has to offer. After studying medicine in Dunedin, God called her in to full time church ministry. Adele leads a diverse, creative, and Holy Spirit empowered community.
