Young adulthood is a stage of life where individuals begin to critically examine what they believe. It’s at this stage that they may become disillusioned with the faith they grew up with. This webinar series aims to help equip pastors and church leaders to support Youth Adults navigate this stage of life by exploring the questions that they are wrestling with.

This webinar series is being facilitated by Hannah Cossey who will be interviewing Youth specialists and a panel of Young Adults.

Sessions

Webinar 1: Understanding Young Adults stage of faith. Exploring how to support them as they transition from a “conventional” faith characterised by conformity, to an “individual-reflective” faith where they take responsibility for their beliefs and feelings. 3rd September, 10:30am, 2025.
Webinar 2: Understanding the importance of values for Young Adults. Exploring how alignment of personal values with an organisations values impacts their decisions regarding workplace and church. 10th September, 10:30am, 2025. 
Webinar 3: Understanding how Young Adults connect their vocation and their faith. 17th September, 10:30am, 2025. 
 
Presenter 

Hannah Cossey is the Young Adults Coach for the Upper South Baptist Association. Before youth and church based work, Hannah enjoyed various other work including being a legal secretary and a demolition labourer. She has lived in the city, lived rurally and done the transient van life. She loves embracing the ways in which following Jesus makes us radically different and learning to being steeped in active compassion for the condition of the world.
