Thriving in Ministry: 5 Keys for Emotional Wellbeing
Learn about the 5 keys for emotional wellbeing in ministry, and how to apply them in order to help sustain a long-term, satisfying and effective ministry. 4 webinars starting 4th June, 1pm, 2026.
Description
Pastoral work is often stressful and emotionally demanding. It’s therefore not surprising that studies show that emotional exhaustion, depression, and anxiety, are high amongst the pastoral profession. This webinar series will provide five keys that will help pastors manage and utilise the power of their emotions so that they can sustain a long-term, satisfying and effective ministry. It will also help them to navigate events in pastoral ministry that will challenge their emotional well-being, so that they can not only survive, but thrive in pastoral ministry.
Note: The content of this series is based on Glenn's PhD research with Baptist pastors. It is a revised/updated webinar series from the one offered in 2024. There will be more opportunity for interaction and greater focus on application.
