Baptist Orientation Day 2025

This one-day orientation is for all New Zealand Baptist registrants who are provisionally registered. The programme for the day includes engagement with Baptist distinctives and how being Baptist in Aotearoa New Zealand is different to other parts of the world. There are opportunities to meet the National Support Office team, Carey College staff, and NZBMS staff. There is also the opportunity to meet other Baptist registrants from all over Aotearoa. We hope that this day may inspire you to be Baptist by conviction!

Provisional Baptist Leaders’ Registration

This one-day orientation is a compulsory component of Provisional Baptist Registration – the two-year period from first registering. This one-day orientation can be done in either of the two years of Provisional Registration.

Format of the day

The timeframe allows people from out of town to return home at the end of the day, or just have one overnight stay, with some being able to make it there-and-back in one day. We appreciate that some people may need to have two nights away to make this day.

Cost

There is no cost for the day. We appreciate there is a travel and/or accommodation expense for some to be present. 

The day is scheduled for Thursday 14th August, 2025, and runs from 8am to 5.00pm, with breakfast, lunch and morning/afternoon tea provided.
The venue is the National Support Office at 473 Great South Road, Penrose, Auckland
